Abstract

PURPOSE:To uniformalize the size of a recording dot and to improve a picture quality, by a method wherein a discharge orifice at an upper part of a head is caused to differ with that at a lower part of a head so that recording dots are uniformalized. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of discharge orifices form a multiorifice structure which, in turn, is erected in a perpendicular direction, and discharge calibers of the discharge orifices 16 are caused to differ from each other so that recording dots are uniformalized. The caliber of the orifice 16 is adjusted through the formation of a pattern grooved in an appropriate size in a grooved plate 7. This causes a difference in the size of the recording dot to be brought to an extent that it can be almot disregarded, which results in obtaining an uneven picture quality.
