Abstract

PURPOSE:Not to make a larger pressure chamber, to make easily highly integrated nozzles and to obtain prints of high quality approximate to types by a method wherein nozzles are divided into a plurality of low cumulated heads, each head is arranged varying a specific pitch. CONSTITUTION:A diaphragm 16 is welded on the side of a substrate 11 and a group of piezoelectric elements 17 are attached to this diaphragm 16. Each head is arranged varying 1/N pitches in the combination of N low cumulated heads forming an ink supply passage 14, a pressure chamber 12 and a nozzle 13 between this substrate 11 and this diaphragm 16. To take an example of two low cumulated heads 27, the height of a nozzle 13 in one head 27 is fixed on a support base 25 just at half a nozzle pitch far from the height of a nozzle 13 in the other head 27.
