Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a satisfactory stereoscopic picture, by combining a cathode ray tube having a fluorescent surface obtained by repeating a fluorescent substance part and a light screening part, and a lens sheet consisting of a cylindrical lines. CONSTITUTION:On the inside of a face plate 3b of a cathode ray tube 3, a fluorescent surface 3a obtained by repeating a fluorescent substance part Lc and a light screening part Lb is provided, and on the outside of the face plate 3b, a lens sheet 3d consisting of a cylindrical lens is provided. The cylindrical lens forming this lens sheet 3d is formed so as to correspond by 1 to 1 to each fluorescent substance part Lc, and also the cylindrical lens is formed so that the radiuses of curvature R1, R2 (R2>R1) are made centering around the center of curvature O0. When an electronic beam is scanned by use of the cathode ray tube 3 formed in this way, a statisfactory stereoscopic picture is obtained on the fluorescent surface 3a.
