Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent dirt, etc., from sticking to a form, by providing a control means which stops a slip roller from turning temporarily after a transfer material strikes a register roller and then permits it to turn again. CONSTITUTION:The side plate 21 of a copying machine body has a manual insertion opening 20, from which a manually inserted form is inserted into the machine body. Then, detectors 23 and 24 detect the form being inserted and the manually inserted form is sandwiched between slip rollers 10 to reach register rollers 13. A control means is provided to stop the turning of the slip rollers 10 temporarily after the front edge of the form as a transfer material strikes the register rollers 13 and then to permit them to turn again. Thus, dirt, etc., on the slip rollers is prevented from sticking to the form.
