Abstract
PURPOSE: To produce a steel plate enamel coating having superior properties free from defects such as deformations, semicircular peelings, pinholes and the like by heating a steel plate, spraying low m.p. glass frit, melt sticking the same thence firing this.
CONSTITUTION: A steel plate for enamel coating is heated and low m.p. glass frit of below 480°C softening temp. is sprayed on this hot steel plate, and is melt stuck. Thence, it is fired at 650W750°C, whereby an enameled steel plate is formed. The low m.p. glass frit to be used is the one of high corrosion resistance such as the one of which the composition indicated by mol% of ≥98% mol% of the composition except water is 56.0≤SiO2≤63.0, 6.0≤B2O3≤10.0, 5.0≤ RO2≤10.0 (R=Ti, Zr), 23.0≤R2'O≤26.0 (R'=Na, Li), 3.0≤F2≤7.0 (F2=F compound in terms of F2)[where 1/3≤Ti/Zr≤3.0, 2/3≤Na/Li≤4.0].
