Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain starting material for the manufacture of ferromanganese with favorable properties causing no reduction in degree of oxidation, no powdering phenomenon, etc. at a low cost of treatment by granulating Mn ore-base fine grains with a necessary amount of a hydraulic binder and water.

The resulting pellets are cured for a necessary time.
