Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress noise and vibration of a cooler for a variable speed motor by mounting by magnetic coupling of a magnet and a magnetic material when a cooling fan is mounted on a rotational portion, thereby producing a slip at a rotating speed higher than the predetermined speed to limit the rotating speed of the fan. CONSTITUTION:When a fan 6 is mounted on a rotational shaft 4, a magnet is disposed at one side, and a magnetic material is disposed by magnetic coupling via a drive mechanism 7 at the other side. In this manner, the fan 6 rotates at the same rotating speed until the rotating speed of the shaft 4 reaches the predetermined speed, but when the fan rotates at a speed faster than the predetermined speed, the drive mechanism 7 will slip. Accordingly, the rotating speed of the fan 6 does not rotate at the speed higher than the predetermined value, thereby suppressing the vibration and noise.
