Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the extreme lowering in impedance at the outside of an objective band, by connecting a capacitance to an input or output side of a helical filter. CONSTITUTION:One end of an input helical resonator 2, output helical resonator 3, impedance matching coil 5 is connected to a case 1 in a grounded case 1, and another end of the resonator 2 is connected in series with a capacitor 11 at an input terminal 7, and another end of the resonator 3 is connected with a capacitor 12 in series at an output terminal 8. In the helical filter with such a constitution, the impedance is good of course, in a desired band, and even at the outside of the desired band, almost infinite impedance is given at the upper band and a large negative impedance is obtained at a lower band. Thus, the effect of filters at a coupling point 10 can almost be avoided by using a branch device or mixer by using helical filters f1-fn with such characteristics.
