Abstract
PURPOSE:To safely connect a plural number of parallel placed electrodes of the same kind with high efficiency, by inserting the end of an output terminal and electrode lead wires into a cylindrical body made of a corrosion resistant metal, before the end and the wires are pressed and connected. CONSTITUTION:The end of an output terminal 2, which is exposed outside a container, and a plural number of electrode lead wires 3 are inserted into a cylindrical body 1 made of a corrosion resistant metal, before they are pressed from both sides of the body 1 by a pressing tool or the like and are connected into a unified body, thus a nonaqueous electrolyte battery being constituted by connecting a plural number of electrodes of the same kind in paralle. By the means mentioned above, easy connection of the electrodes can be achieved, and the battery can be safely assembled in an inactive atmosphere without using heat. Consequently, simple connection of the electrodes can be secured.
