Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and facilitate the production by providing a positive terminal, a negative terminal, and a thermo-switch on an insulator inserted between cells and opening connection windows on a split case. CONSTITUTION:A positive electrode terminal 6 and a negative electrode terminal 7 are fitted to the step section of an hourglass insulator 5 inserted between cells 2A, 2B, and a thermostat 8 is inserted into the recess on the opposite side. Positive electrodes and negative electrodes of the cells are connected to the terminals 6, 7 respectively, and they are stored in a cell pack 1 formed with an upper case 3 and a lower case 4 split into two so that the terminals 6, 7 correspond to the openings 13 of the case 3. The terminals and thermostat or the like are not required to be individually provided on the case, thereby the number of components is reduced, the structure of the cell pack is simplified, no soldering is required between lead wires and the terminals provided on the case, and the production is facilitated.
