Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a smooth water level adjusting operation possible, by providing a shock absorber, which changes the set water level to a value corresponding to the opening of the guide vane of a water wheel for switching from the removal to the use of a water level adjusting device, in the water level adjusting device. CONSTITUTION:A water level adjusting device 7 controls an opening eta of a guide vane 4 of a water wheel 3 in accordance with the deviation between a set water level and a water level H of an adjusting pond 1 provided in the upstream position to adjust a flow rate Q2 of the water wheel. In case that a changeover switch 10 is opened and the device 7 is removed to adjust the flow rate manually, an output epsilon of an adder 73 is integrated in 745 through a multiplier 744 and an apparent set water level HR' is changed in accordance with the opening eta of the guide vane to set the output epsilon of the adder 73 to 0 because contacts 10a and 10b of a shock absorber 74 of the device 7 are interlocked with a contact 10 as shown in figure.
