Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of a gas invasion gap between skirts which are provided at the butts of moving vanes so that each skirt extends from a vane seat to a fitted part, by providing overlaps on the neighboring ends of the skirts of the adjacent moving vanes.
CONSTITUTION: Each moving vane block 10 of a gas turbine comprises a vane 1, a vane seat 2, a butt 3 and a fitted part 4. Skirts 5 are provided at the upstream and downstream ends of the butt 3 so that each skirt 5 extends from the vane seat 2 to the fitted part 4. Gas seal flanges 6 are provided on the skirts 5. The protrusion 2a of one moving vane block and the nick 2b of another moving vane block constitute an overlap between the adjacent vane seats 2. One of the opposed ends of the neighboring skirts 5 of the adjacent moving vane blocks 10 is provided with a protrusion 5a and the other is provided with an opening 5b. The protrusion 5a and the opening 5b are combined with each other to prevent the occurrence of a gap 8 between the adjacent skirts 5 to avoid the invasion of gas between them.
