Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize simple, small-sized structure and to reduce cost, by installing a displacement sensor and a cyclinder in an external tube in one body. CONSTITUTION:A product 1 is fitted on a receiving base 2 with an internal cylinder 13 moved back in an external cyclinder 9. Compressed air is supplied from an air intake 11 and to apply pressure to a piston 12. The internal cylinder 13 moves to left compressing a coil spring 17, and the piston 12 comes into contact with a step part 16. Consequently, the tip of a measurement rod 20 meets the surface of the product 1 to be measured, and the measurement rod 20 moves back slightly in the internal cylinder 13 while compressing a coil spring 23. A prescribed current flows through a differential coil 18, and a core 19 shifts in position together with the measurement rod 20 to vary the current value, thus detecting the position of the product 1. Consequently, the structure is made simple and small-sized, and the cost is reduced.
