Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a uniform film in coating over whole exposed surface of a printed circuit substrate on which a group of small holes is made, by atomizing and suspending flux liquid in a spray chamber and passing a substrate through the atomized zone at a specified speed.
CONSTITUTION: Flux liquid in a flux tank 14 is supplied by a pump 19 to upper and lower spray pipes 21, 22 and sprayed towards the center of a spray chamber 5 from nozzles 21aW21c, 22aW22c in minute particle form. Atomized minute particles of the flux liquid fill up the spray chamber, and those condensed and liquefied are returned to the flux tank through a connecting pipe 15. On the other hand, a printed circuit substrate P sent on a carrying roll 11 advances to an outlet chamber 9 at a specified speed, and during the while, minute particles of atomized flux liquid act uniformly on whole exposed surface of the substrate P and adhere to the surface and back and inner wall of fitting holes to form a film.
