Abstract
PURPOSE:To freely store the information for instructing an execution unit to be operated at the same time, and to easily change the instruction of the execution unit to be operated at the same time, by adding a storage device to a microprogram contoller. CONSTITUTION:A word of a microprogram has a type bit T showing each execution unit U1-U5 to which microoperation codes OPA, OPB correspond, and information for deciding the combination is stored in a storage device 1-5. In the storage device, only the combination of execution units which are executed frequently is sotred, and when contents of the storage device are changed, the combination which is capable of operating simultaneously can be changed easily. A decoding circuit 1-7 discriminates to which execution units U1-U5 the microoperation codes OPA, OPB correspond, in accordance with unit information UA, UB read out from the storage device 1-5, and sends the codes OPA, OPB to the unit concerned so as to execute the operation simultaneously.
