Abstract
PURPOSE:A novel regerative material capable of being used stably without gelatinizing paraffin in its liquid phase and causing separation, etc. for a long time, obtained by adding an N-acylamino acid derivative, etc. as a nucleating agent to paraffin as a regenerative material. CONSTITUTION:Paraffin is blended with preferably 0.5-5wt% one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of amide, ester, amine salt of N-acylamino acid and 12-hydroxystearic acid as a nucleating agent. The blend is futher mixed with a filler of metal, preferably aluminum, etc., to give a regenerative material, which is fed to a sealed container to form a regenerative unit. Several units are placed in water, to constitute a regenerating device. N-Lauroylglutamic acid diamide, etc. havind C>=8 long-chain aliphatic hydrocarbon is preferably used as the N-acylamino acid derivative.
