Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide the titled extruder such that die ports can be precisely aligned with corresponding core wire passing holes of a nipple, by a method wherein the positions of a plurality of slide die members having respective die ports can be adjusted independently in front of a die. CONSTITUTION:The die 14 is provided with the slide die members 26A, 26B which have respective die ports 24A, 24B and are adjustably retained in a retaining hole 28 extending across two die chambers 22A, 22B at the front face of the die 14. The two die ports 24A, 24B can be moved along the retaining hole 28 and can be finely adjusted independently so that they are aligned with the corresponding core wire passing holes 16A, 16B of the nipple 12.
