Abstract

PURPOSE:To fix side covers to both sides of the title air conditioner in a simple manner without using screws by a method wherein in a cabinet structure for the air conditioner, upper and lower guide pins of the side covers are moved into stop sections in an upper cover and grooves in a front cover, respectively. CONSTITUTION:When the side cover 20 is fitted in each of the side surfaces of the air conditioner, the lower guide pin 23 is inserted into the wide groove 29a in the front cover 28 while the upper guide pin 20a of the side cover 20 is inserted into an insert hole 26a in the upper cover 24. Next, the whole of the side cover 20 is slid to the right to move the upper guide pin 20a into a stop 26b of a slide groove 26 and a holding section 22 for the lower guide pin 23 of the side cover 20 is moved into the narrow groove 29b in the front cover 28 so that the upper and the lower guide pins 20a and 23 are stopped at the upper and the lower portions of the side cover 20 and the side cover 20 is fitted in each side surface of the air conditioner.
