Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve high-precision exposure controlling operation and to set flash photographing operation automatically, by controlling a liquid crystal diaphragm, etc., on the basis of a light-quantity signal and a distance measuring signal. CONSTITUTION:As a strobe device 3 is held in readiness for operation, a light- quantity signal from a generating circuit 8 is supplied to an arithmetic circuit 7 in a photographic lens device 1 to perform arithmetic with a signal from a distance measuring circuit 4, outputting an aperture-value controling signal. The aperture-value controlling signal is supplied preferentially to a drive controlling circuit 5 through a switching circuit 7. The circuit 7, when there is no control signal, supplies the output signal of an exposure controlling circuit 9 in a camera 2 to the circuit 5. The output of the circuit 5 controls a liquid crystal diaphragm 6.
