Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the discomfort due to the vibration of the axle torque by detecting the release of an accelerator pedal during rhe travel under lock-up condition, and blocking the output of the lock-up signal to maintain a torque converter in the converter state.
CONSTITUTION: The singals S12, S23 of each shift switches 1, 2 are provided to a speed change position deciding circuit 6 and a speed change detector circuit 7 while the output from said circuit 6 is logically operated with the output from a car speed comparator circuit 9 then provided to OR gate 16. Each output from said OR gate 16 and a speed change detector circuit 7 are provided to AND gate 12, and upon the occurrence of L level signal a lock-up solenoid 5 is de-energized to bring a torque converter into the converter state. When releasing the accelerator pedal an idle switch 10 will close even during the travel under the lock-up state, and said AND gate 12 will produce L lever signal similarly thus to bring the torque converter into the converter state.
