Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a clutch from being quickly engaged even when the idling rotation will increase abruptly, by pre-storing the r.p.m. of the idling and employing said idling r.p.m. as the starting point of the clutch engagement.
CONSTITUTION: Under the idling state the car speed signal 58 and the acceleration signal 59 are in H level thus to open a gate 54. Consequently an ignition pulse 45 for detecting the r.p.m. of the engine is D/A converted 53 and stored as the voltage level in a memory 55. Then when starting a car, the voltage which passed through said D/A circuit 53 will increase and a comparator 56 will compare the outputs of the circuits 53, 55 and when the former is higher the output is provided thus to close a switching circuit 47. Consequently D.C. voltage proportional to said pulse 45 is provided to a zero level variation circuit 49 and when it will exceed the potential stored in the memory 55 the output is provided to conduct power to the coil 7 of the clutch thus to connect the clutch.
