Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a moisture conditioner capable of maintaining a favorable moisture condition of air for a long period of time and permitting an adjustment of humidification amount and dehumidification amount as required, by a method wherein a base material for moisture conditioning is rotated with a part thereof immersed in an adsorbent held in a container so as to replenish the adsorbent.
CONSTITUTION: The moisture conditioning base material 3 to be impregnated with an absorbent solution 6 is formed into the shape of a looped belt, is rotatably supported by rotary shafts 12a, 12b and is rotated by a motor 2 under the condition where a lower end part of the base material 3 is immersed in the adsorbent solution 6 in an adsorbent container 5. Air is introduced via an air intake port 4 by a blower 11, is passed while contacting with the base material 3 and is discharged via an air discharging port 9 as dry air. Even when the absorbent solution in the base material 3 flows downward after absorbing the moisture present in air during dehumidification, and also even when the solution in the base material becomes more concentrated as a result of discharging moisture into air during humidification, an initial dehumidification amount or humidification amount can be maintained for a long period of time.
