Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a picture having high-quality picture, by rubbing the surface of a photoreceptor with the cotton, cloth, etc. stuck an impalpable powder type abrasive to clear off the low surface energy material stuck to the surface of the photoreceptor and accordingly avoiding the white streak type disturbance, etc. of a copied picture. CONSTITUTION:An impalpable powder type abrasive 0.01-15mum grain size selected among the calcium carbonate, aluminum sulfate, barium sulfate, magnesium sulfate, aluminum oxide, silicon oxide and strontium oxide respectively is stuck to the cotton, cloth, etc. Then the surface of a photoreceptor is rubbed with such cotton or cloth. A low surface energy material (solid-state lubricant of zinc stearate, polyethylene, etc.) is supplied on the surface of the photoreceptor directly or via a toner in order to prevent the occurrence of flaws or to increase the cleaning effect, and accordingly the disturbance of a picture is caused. Such low surface energy material is eliminated with said abrasive to ensure a picture having high-quality.
