Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the radio interference effectively, by changing the detection level of a level detector in accordance with the differential frequency between a desired frequency and the frequency of disturbing radio waves causing the radio interference. CONSTITUTION:A desired receiving frequency is indicated to a channel selecting device, and disturbing radio waves which give the radio interference to the desired receiving frequency are searched through a level detector 40, and a series of operations where control signal for gain control are given in accordance with the search result is performed by a control device 17. The detection level of the detector 40 is changed to plural steps in accordance with the differential frequency between the desired receiving frequency and the frequency of disturbing radio waves causing the radio interference. Thus, conventional troubles, where the gain of an antenna input is controlled through disturbing radio waves are separated from the desired receiving frequency and do not reach the level of the radio interference, are eliminated to eliminate the radio interference effectively.
