Abstract
PURPOSE:To search for a desired station in a short time even if the number of stations is large, by presetting stations which are turned frequently, by successively searching for the station by holding each preset channel in a short time. CONSTITUTION:In response to the operation of channel search key 15, control circuit 13 supplies reception instructions for respective preset channels to PLL circuit 10. In this case, the channels are held for a prescribed time according to the level (articulation) of the detection signal of signal detecting circuit 12. As key 15 is operated, control circuit 13 supplies the reception instruction signal to PLL10 to receive a signal over the 1st preset chennel. Thus, the reception over the 1st channel is done. Control circuit 13, when judging that the 1st channel station can be received articulately, continues the reception for the prescribed time. When not, the next channel is received. The said operation is repeated successively and when a desired station is searched for, channel search stop key 14 is operated to stop the search.
