Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a capsule with excellent water and heat resistance and good color development by a method wherein the suitable amount of latex is added to a coated layer of a micro capsule made of a melamine formalin resin film or urea formalin resin film.
CONSTITUTION: The amount of latex equal to that of 5%W20% of a micro capsule is added to the micro capsule made of a melamine formalin resin film or urea formalin resin film. In addition, 20W80 parts of a protective agent (stilt agent) and 10W40 parts of a water soluble adhesive agent, and various additives if required, are added. Paper of fine quality is coated with the coating liquid thus obtained to obtain non-carbon copying paper. The addition of latex helps soften the hardness of the micro capsule, thus preventing the appearance of a stain due to unnecessary rupture of the micro capsule.
