Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the formation of sharkskin of formed film surface by using the suspension of fluorescent substance, hydroxypropyl cellulose, isobutyrene-maleic anhydride copolymer, and acetylene glycol defoaming agent in water.
CONSTITUTION: The suspension prepd. by mixing fluorescent substance, hydroxypropyl cellulose, isobutylene-maleic anhydride copolymer and a defoaming agent consisting of a basic material of acetlylene glycol in water is coated on the inside surface of a glass tube, whereby a fluorescent film is formed. The total amount of hydroxypropyl cellulose and isobutylene-maleic anhydride copolymer is preferably 0.5W4 times by weight based on the weight of the fluorescent material, and the proper mixing ratio of the former with the latter is 5W40pts.wt. of the latter. The isobutylene-maleic anhydride copolymer of 16×104W17×104mol.wt. is suitable in terms of the peeling prevention of the fluorescent film.
