Abstract

After a rim 18 is fixedly fitted on the rim support portion 6 of the main shaft 3, the rest 14 is moved down. The main shaft 3 is moved forward further. The main shaft 3 is stopped when the tire 19 is brought into contact with a stopper 10 and deformed. A ring 20 is removed by a tire lever. A valve 21 is pushed into the tire 19. After that, the main shaft 3 is moved back again to bring the edge 18a of the rim 18 into contact with a guide plate 7. The main shaft 3 is moved back further. At that time, the guide plate 7 and the rim 18 are displaced back against a spring 9 but the tire 19 is kept by a stopper 11 from being moved back. Therefore, the tire 19 and the rim 18 are separated from each other.
