Abstract
PURPOSE:To inform whether the operation of a rotary machine is valid or not at a prior stage of the generation of a trouble by indicating the vibration response at the speedup of the machine to the operator as an expected value. CONSTITUTION:If various elements of a shaft system, for example, the diameter of a rotary shaft 7, the diameter and thickness of disks 8, shaft length, and bearing spring constant are dicided, the dangerous speed of a rotary machine is found from the characteristic value analysis of the rotary shaft 7. At the slow rotation, the bending of the shaft is detected by vibration pickup elements 9 attached to several positions of the rotary shaft 7. While considering the shaft bending on the basis of these data, unbalance response is found. When the amplitude is increased by unbalance oscillation during the speedup of the rotary machine, the rotational frequency and amplitude at the present point is compared with the unbalance response value found from the known unbalance value by interrupting a computer, displaying the calculated value on a CRT as an estimated value for the succeeding response value.
