Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the quick feed, forward/reverse work feed completely in one work cycle, by taking the power from same drive source while enabling the reciporcative rotation and forward/reverse work feed of the spindle while interlocking with the up-down motion of the center column. CONSTITUTION:The material to be worked or a coil member 7 is fed out from the stock position then fed through a corrective devices 8, 8 to a constant length feeder 9 in a case 1. Then the coil member 7 is cut to the work material of predetermined dimension by means of a cut-off device 10 while simultaneously fed to a loading device 11 arranged on a fixed table 5. When driving said device 11 in accordance to the up-down motion of a center column 6, it is loaded to the working position of an index table 4 while each upper work unit 12 in other stations are performed simultaneously. A series of said operations are performed by a drive source or a main motor 13.
