Abstract
PURPOSE:To equalize the focus conditions of three electron beams with each other by integrally forming three inflated sections on a sealing face of third grid electrode facing the second grid electrode of an integrated three electron gun while making the diameter o the outside inflated section larger than the central section. CONSTITUTION:First, second, third, fourth grid electrodes 11, 12, 23, 14 and a magnetic pole 15 are arranged in the beam advance direction while facing with one row of three cathode structures 10R, 10G, 10B and three electron beam through- holes are formed in each electrode to construct an integrated electron gun. The third grid electrode 23 is consturcted by laminating two pairs of sealed tubular electrodes 23-1, 23-2 while inflated sections 23AR, 23AG, 23AB having the electron beam through-hole at the tip are formed integrally on the face facing the second grid electrode 12 and the diameter D1 of the outside inflated section is made larger than the diameter D0 at the central section. Consequently the optimal focus conditions of the central and both outside electron beams can be equalized with each other.
