Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate focusing by judging an in-focus state properly, by varying the light-emission ratio of two light emitting diodes arranged in one chip and differing in emitted-light color. CONSTITUTION:In one chip or package, a light emitting diode DG for green light emission and a light emitting diode DR for red light emission are arranged close to each other to obtain a display element 13. An output signal F corresponding to an in-focus degree is inputted from the signal processing circuit 5 of an automatic focus adjustment device to an inverting amplifier 11 and a noninverting amplifier 12; the output of the inverting amplifier 11 is applied to the light emitting diode DG, and that of the noninverting amplifier 12 to the light emitting diode DR. Consequently, the display element 13 varies in mixed tone continuously in the order of green for the in-focus state, yellow and red according to an out-of-focus degree, so the in-focus state is judged properly to facilitate focusing.
