Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to reproduce a picture which is clear till the end, by increasing the average radiation intensity of a light source as said source approach the end of read-in. CONSTITUTION:When LED lamps 1 of the same rating are used, they are located in shorter pitch as they close to the ends. Or, when electroluminescence is used as the light source, the width of an electroluminescence light emission section 20 is made wider as the width close to the ends. Further, when types of LEDs is selectable freely, it has of course no trouble to select suitable amount of radiated light flux (luminance brightness) in place of the adjustment of locating pitch. Thus, a photosensor array device which can reproduce clear picture till the ends is obtained.
