Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize the use of the facsimile light source device for both the dropout color and the transmission character by installing the mechanism which selects the luminous wavelength of the light source as well as the wavelength of the reflection light of the original.
CONSTITUTION: Red 13, green 14 and daylight color 15 are coated in separation on the inner surface of fluorescent lamp light source 12. The fluorescent lamp is connected to the selection knob, and the knob is turned to make only the area of the necessary color light face to the original surface. In such way, the color light of the light source is selected simply to irradiate the original. Thus in case the dropout color is desired for the green line, green 14 is selected. When the transfer of the green character is desired, red 13 or daylight color 15 is selected. And in case the dropout color is desired for the red line, red 13 is selected. In such way, a free selection is secured for the color of the character or line of the original, thus enhancing the performance of the facsimile device.
