Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to perform a drain treatment at an indoor side at both a cooling and a heating time by a method wherein, in a heat pump type window style air conditioner, a drain pan, mounted at a condenser, and a dew pan for evaporator, and the drain pan and a drain pipe at an indoor side are connected together through their respective drain hoses. CONSTITUTION:Water, condensed at a condenser 3 at a heating time, or water, into which ice is molten in the case of defrosting, stays in a drain pan 20, and is fed to an indoor side through a drain hose 22. Meanwhile, water, condensed by an evaporator 2 at a cooling time, flows from a dew pan 15 to the drain pan 20 through a drain hose 17, and cold water stays at the drain pan 20 to cool the condenser to be produced, it is drained through the drain hose 22 to an indoor side.
