Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the gate destruction due to latch-up, by constituting two capacitors connected to input side of FFs for a voltage-controlled oscillation circuit of C-MOS using a single power supply and eliminating the production of a negative potential. CONSTITUTION:In a voltage-controlled oscillation circuit of C-MOS constitution, two capacitors 11a, 11b are used and the connecting point is grounded, they are given with a voltage control current source and ground alternately for oscillation, and the oscillation frequency is controlled with a current value. When an output signal (e) of an FF8 changes from L to H and an FET3 turns on, one end A of the capacitor 11a is grounded, but since another end is grounded, the potential at one end B of the capacitor 11b is not negative. Even if an FET5 turns on, one end A of the capacitor 11a is not at negative potential. Thus, no latch-up is caused to a C-MOS gate, the destruction of the gate can be avoided.
