Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate a complete grease replacement and bearing replacement by interposing a spherical seat between an outer ring of a rolling beating for a reactor cooling fan an two-divided bearing box to bring the inner surface of the bearing box into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the sperical seat in a spherical surface.
CONSTITUTION: A spherical seat 4 is interposed between an outer ring 1a of a rolling bearing 1 and a bearing box and the outer peripheral surface 4b of the spherical seat 4 is formed in a spherical surface. The inner peripheral surface 3c of the bearing box 3 has the same curvature as the outer peripheral surface 4 of the spherical sheat 4, whereby the inclination of a rotarory shaft 2 forces the bearing 1 to incline along the spherical part 3c through the sperical seat 4, resulting in automatically controlling the center of the bearing 1. Thus, a complete grease replacement can be easily accomplished at the time of periodical check, and at the time of exchange of a bearing, a conventionally available bearing can be used as it it. No other parts then the rolling bearing are necessary to be exchanged, so the exchange of bearing can be easily done.
