Abstract
PURPOSE: To form a dull surface having uniform, fine roughness, by alternately practicing at least twice a rolling pass for overlapped two uncoiled aluminum foils followed by a separating pass for the overlapped and rolled aluminum foils after the rolling pass.
CONSTITUTION: Two uncoiled aluminum foils 1, 2 are overlapped and are then rolled by a rolling roll 13; the rolled aluminum foils 1, 2 are coiled into a coil 3 as they are overlapped. The coiled, overlapped aluminum foils 3 are separated from each other and aluminum foils 4, 5 are separately coiled. The uncoiled aluminum foils 4, 5 are again overlapped so as to touch their surfaces 6, 7 overlapped in the former rolling pass; thus again overlapped aluminum foils 4, 5 are again rolled by the rolling roll 13, and thus rerolled, overlapped aluminum foils 8 is separated into two foils, and the aluminum foils 9, 10 whose overlapped surfaces 11, 12 are dulled so as to be suitable for a reflector, are obtained.
