Abstract

PURPOSE: A resin composition that contains a specific copolymer, thus showing extremely less whitening, even when deformation such as folding is caused in a molded product, as well as high impact strength.
CONSTITUTION: At the first stage, a latex containing 10W60pts.wt. of the core polymer consisting of 5W49% conjugate diene, 41W95% aromatic vinyl compound, or a mixture thereof with alkyl acrylate and 0W10% crosslinking agent is produced and at the second stage, a monomer mixture consisting of more than 60% conjugate diene, 0W5% crosslinking agent and the rest part of aromatic vinyl is added to the above core polymer to cover the core polymer by 20W75pts. to effect the polymerization. Further, at the third stage, 15W50pts. of monomer mixture consisting of alkyl methacrylate and aromatic vinyl including 0W10% crosslinking agent are polymerized in the presence of the resultant copolymer to produce a copolymer having a rigid polymer as the shell layer. The resultant copolymer is combined with a vinyl chloride resin at a ratio of 3W40% to 60W97%.
