CONSTITUTION: An animal blood plasma is brought into contact with a composition containing SiO2 and Al2O3 in a specific proportion at a ratio (SiO2/Al2 O3) between the SiO2 and Al2O3 of 4W8, preferably 4.4W7.7, with a content of SiO2 and Al2O3 usually 50W80%, e.g. colloidal hydrous aluminum siilicate or montmorillonite, preferably bentonite, as an adsorbent, and the resultant supernatant liquid is then recovered to give the aimed preserved perfusate for a transplanted organ. According to the treatment, an undesirable blood coagulation factor or coagulating compound (β-liporprotein, cholesterol or triglyceride) is effectively removed, and albumin necessary for maintaining the colloida osmotic pressure as the preserving solution and a free fatty acid to be an energy source are not influenced at all. Furthermore, hepatitis viruses or blood type substances can be removed.
