Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform stereoscopic image pickup objects moving forward and backward with respect to a video camera with good accuracy by turning a pair of reflection mirrors cooperatively in accordance with the focusing position of an image pickup lens. PURPOSE:Right and left reflection mirros 25, 15 are operated mutually symmetrically by a lever 19 and the like, and are driven by a servomotor 16. The turning of the mirror 15 and the turning of a focusing ring 26 are accomplished as the motor 16 is driven by the differential signal of the position signals outputted according to turning angles by potentiometers 34, 29. Here, a signal converter 37 is constituted of a non-linear type amplifier in a such a way that the positions where the optical axes 41 and 42 intersect coincide in the focusing position. Thereby, the objects moving forward and backward are stereoscopically shot with good accuracy because the mirrors 25, 15 turn in such a way that the positions where the optical axes 41 and 42 intersect are tracked by the turning of the ring 26.
