Abstract

PURPOSE: To make uniform the quality by automatically aligning the centers of the bearing sections of a main bearing body and an auxiliary bearing body with high accuracy in the assembly of a rotary compressor, etc. with both the main bearing body and the auxiliary bearing body.
CONSTITUTION: The main bearing body 6 and the auxiliary bearing body 18 are each held horizontally to the first and second XY tables 3, 2 while a shaft 12 inserted into the bearing sections 10, 19 of each bearing body 6, 18 is held vertically by means of a supporting mechanism 13, and the first and second XY tables 3, 22 are controlled by means of a sensor detecting contact among the bearing sections 10, 19 and the shaft 12. The coordinates of the first and second XY tables 3, 22 at that time are detected by means of position detectors 31, 32, the centers of the bearing sections 10, 19 of the main bearing body 6 and the auxiliary bearing body 18 are automatically aligned with high accuracy, and the compressor is assembled.
