Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten the molding cycle time and improve productivity by moving the mold from an injection site to another site and cooling the mold, and injecting the next mold during cooling. CONSTITUTION:The clamping device is provided at the position A on the rotating table. When the lower platen ascends, the injection nozzle is connected to the pouring inlet of the cavity and the plasticizing apparatus 18 proceeds and pours molten plastics into the mold. After finishing injection, the rotary table 2 is rotated and the mold which holds the injection molded parison moves to the position B and the next mold is carried to the position A. The heat exchange fluid pathes 19, 20, 21 are formed in the cavity 4, the neck 5 and the core 6 of each mold, and these pathes are connected to the water feed mechanism 22 and the drainage 23, cooling water is circulated in the mold carried to the position B and the parison in the mold is cooled below the stretch temperature. After cooling, the rotating table 2 is further rotated and carries the mold holding the cooled parison to the position. C.
