Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress the variance in distances between holes and chamber owing to temp. fluctuations by separating plastic resin parts approximately by every watch function block in a base frame for watches made by insert-molding of metallic plates. CONSTITUTION:A metallic plate 1A is insert-molded into a plastic resin to support watch parts with the ruggedness on the plastics. In the respective blocks of a wheel train part A, a switching part B, a circuit part C, a motor part D, and a battery part E, the plastics are separated and the flat position accuracy of various holes and pins owing to molding shrinkage is obtained. If this separation is accomplished by a method of decreasing the wall thickness of separating grooves 1C, some effect is obtainable as well but much better effect is obtained if these are so constituted that metallic faces expose to the surfaces as shown by shaded parts.
