Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate detection error due to variation in the output level, by making an arrangement so that phase lag is geneated in a output signal and an AC signal for energizing corresponding to the rotating angle, in an electomagnetic rotating angle detecting apparatus. CONSTITUTION:Primary windings 2A and 2C and 2B and 2D are differentially wound arround energizing pole pairs A and C and B and D, respectively, and the windings are connected to each other in series. And a sine signal is impressed from an oscillator 5 and a cosine signal is impressed from another oscillator 6 on each winding. A rotor 3 is eccentrically fitted to the center of a rotating shaft 4, and changes the reluctance of a magnetic path passing thorugh energizing poles of each stator A-D in accordance with the rotating angle. Secondary windings 7A-7D wound arround the energizing poles A-D are connected to each other in series, and this output signal E becomes an AC signal whose phase is lagged and which corresponds to the rotation of the rotor 3.
