Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the volume of ashes at regular inspection and recover the heat energy of the inflammable component in the ashes by a method wherein a piping, in which a cyclone separator and a filter are equipped, is provided in parallel to a piping, which leads the ashes collected in the exhaust gases of boilers to an incineration furnace, in order to feed the inflammable component in the ashes produced at the regular inspections to the incineration furnace at the time of the regular inspection. The method and equipment mentioned above are applied to the solid waste produced at power station or the like.
CONSTITUTION: The pressurized feed air is led through a piping 6, a valve 12a and a by-pass piping 12 by-passing a main piping, which connects a valve 7 with an unit storage tank 8, to a cyclone separator 13, within which incombustible component with heavy specific weight such as scale or the like is removed from the exhaust gas. After that, pressurized feed air is further led to a filter unit such as bag filter or the like, within which unburned component with light specific weight such as unburned carbon or the like is collected to supply to a concentrated storage tank 9 through a piping 15, and then supplied as the secondary combustion air to the incineration furnace 10 through a piping 16.
