Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent damage of a tape without giving unnecessary tension and sag to the tape, by delaying the power supply to a solenoid of a high speed running mechanism until rotation of a reel motor becomes constant, when directly shifting to a constant speed from a high speed. CONSTITUTION:When a reproducing operation member 79 is pushed, a solenoid plunger 48 is turned on through an FF circuit 80 and a one-shot circuit 81, and runs at a constant speed. In this state, when a rewinding operation member 82 is pushed, a solenoid plunger 55 is driven in the same way, and runs at a high speed since high voltage is applied to the reel motor. In this state, when the reproducing operation member 79 is pushed once again, low voltage is applied to the reel motor through the FF circuits 80, 83, and after that, it is delayed by a time portion for changing a capacitor C, the plunger 55 is driven by an output of a one-shot circuit 84, and the reproducing state is ready. In this way, when shifting to a constant speed directly from a high speed, the reproducing state is set by switching the voltage of the reel motor to low and delaying it until the rotation becomes constant, therefore, damage of a tape is prevented without giving unnecessary tension and sag to the tape.
