Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically remove a wrong transfer paper produced at the last of a roll transfer paper, by controlling discharge of the transfer paper via means for detecting presence of a transfer paper on the upstream side of a cutter. CONSTITUTION:A detection switch S2 for movement of an original placig plate, a random cutting switch S4 movable and settable in accordance with cutting length, a switch S3 for reversing said placing plate, etc. respond to movement of said plate to control a pair of paper feed rollers 12, a cutter 14, etc. and to feed a transfer paper having a desired length. When the end of the last paper of a roll transfer paper is not detected with the transfer paper presence detection switch S5 located apart from the cutter 14 by the distance between the roller pair 12 and a conveying roller pair 16, or more, the switch S5 is connected to the side of a contact (a) to energize a relay RY2 and to close a contact R22, thus permitting a solenoid 22 to be energized, a short and wrong transfer paper to be automatically removed with a movable guide plate 18, in addition, jam to be prevented in accordance with the set position of the switch S5 and the last paper shorter than the desired length to be removed likewise, and wrong copying to be prevented.
