Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent collision of the tops of a slide unit to the inner surface of a housing and to thereby ensure smooth rotation of the slide unit, by employing an arrangement in which guide members are fixed to a slide-unit guide shaft so that the slide unit can be slided by the aid of the slide members straightly in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the slide unit. CONSTITUTION:A slide unit 1 is composed by coupling two members 1b, 1c together by bolts 5 by the intermediary of a spacer 4, and the inner parts of the members 1b, 1c are supported on a slide-unit guide shaft 2 by the intermediary of slide members 3. The guide shaft 2 is disposed at a position displaced from the center of a rotor 6 toward the center of a housing 8 by a distance equal to that of eccentricity of the rotor 6 to the housing 8, in the manner that it can be rotated freely. Further, guide members 21 are fixed to the guide shaft 2 and slide members 3 are fitted in freely slidable manner in grooves 22 formed in the guide members 21, respectively. Therefore, when the rotor 6 is turned by an engine of an automobile or the like, slide unit 1 is rotated while causing relative sliding movement to the rotor 6 in its diametrical direction, with said sliding movement of the slide unit 1 being restricted by slits 61, 62 of the rotor 6 and grooves 22 of the guide shaft 2.
