Abstract
PURPOSE:To stably and effectively absorb the solar energy for a long length of time by using a solar energy absorber having excellent heat resistance and excellent acid resistance. CONSTITUTION:In a solar energy absorber, a 0.1-1mu selective absorptive film 2 composed of Cu or a Cu alloy is formed on the surface of a metal base material 1, the surface of the film 2 is subjected to an oxidizing and/or sulfidying treatment, and then a light permeable protective film 3 is formed on the selective absorptive film 2 so treated. Since the solar energy absorber is made of a thermally and chemically stable metal base material 1 having excellent resistance to heat and side and its surface is a selective adsorptive film 2 having excellent solar energy absorption characteristic, the surface of which is further covered with a protective film 3, the solar energy absorption characteristics of the solar energy absorber is better and its durability is practically high because no increase in the thickness of the selective absorptive film after uses for a long time occurs.
